- Had four membership programs by Zoom. They were on Scallops, Park Update by Scott Robinson, Native Plants as Food and Medicine, and the new Alaqua Wildlife Rehab. Center.
- Continued planning for the playground replacement project. Submitted two grant applications – 1 to the Florida State Park Foundation and one to the St. Joe Community Foundation. Received a $69,000 grant from the St. Joe Foundation! We thank them! This allowed us to start a Phase 2 project to provide benches and additional play equipment and amenities.
- Had 2 big fund raising events in October – the first Splash & Dash event in collaboration with RUN/SUP, and a drawing for a new paddleboard and equipment given to us by the Florida Park Service. Both were very successful!
- Replaced the aquarium and equipment in the Visitor Center – a beautiful new exhibit!
- Purchased 144 Park volunteer t-shirts
- Purchased a new clothes dryer for the camp volunteers
- Purchased trees for the new campground area
- Designed and now have Friends shirts and hats for sale – including online sales
- Had a booth at two area Farmers Markets
- Provided volunteers for the PCB Marathon portion in the Park
- Continued our aluminum can recycling program. Still looking for volunteers who have a trailer hitch to take cans to the recycle place. Just email us if you would be interested in doing one of the months.

Jetty Rocks Project, St. Andrews State Park (Park Manager Scott Robinson)

Here are a couple of photos of the newest access to the beach located along the boardwalk in the Jetty area. This access was installed to provide addition access and is beach wheelchair friendly. The old wooden boardwalk was removed by a group of volunteers from the local paddling and surfing community. The Department provided additional funding and we purchased several rolls of Accessmat, a product designed to help those with disabilities cross uneven terrain. This new beach access is being well used by visitors. Article about the project in the PCB Life newspaper, April 2021; https://mypcblife.com/rocking-out-the-jetty-project/
